Precautions after lung puncture surgery

1. Postoperative treatment After needle biopsy, observation is required for 2 to 4 hours. If there is no abnormality through fluoroscopy, radiography or CT scan, you can go home for observation.

2. Complications ① Pneumothorax: the most common complication. If the lung is compressed by 20 percent and the symptoms tend to worsen, thoracic exhaust treatment is required. ②Bleeding: mild hemoptysis, bed rest, oral or intramuscular injection of stability. Massive hemoptysis can be treated with hemostatic drugs such as vasopressin. ③ air embolism: rare but serious consequences. During operation, care should be taken to prevent penetration of the pulmonary blood vessels, and the trocar should be blocked with a needle core immediately after each suction to prevent air from entering. ④ Tumor spread: rare, the needle core should be properly protected by a cannula when the needle is withdrawn to prevent the biopsy material from falling off along the needle track.
